Our previous post contained several VPP and PTV[1] projections for a June top in the soybean market. These were not as accurate as we would have liked, having an error of 20¢ in July soybean futures. However, it seems it is most likely that Gann's 20yrs cycle projected to turn in the first half of the month has aligned with a swing top.
Other PTVs completed in both July and November soybean futures at the June 10th an 13th tops respectively. We are including them in this post.
Geometry Analysis
Figure 1 is a daily price-time chart for July soybean futures. It is an update from the chart we presented in our previous post. Circled in red is our previous projection using VPP and PTVs.
Figure 1 Daily prices for July soybean futures in 2016. Gann's 20 years cycle harmonic aligning with a market top, possibly a summer top. PTVs completing at the June 2016 top. |
The PTVs we presented before did not align with the market top, instead two other PTVs did. The first one in red of length equal to 201.43 (√2x144) and the second one in green, larger, equal to 303.26 (√2x216).
Figure 2 is a price-time chart for November soybean futures. It also contains several PTVs in blue color defining up and down swings in the bull market since early March 2016. In this case, the lengths of these PTVs are related to the number 108 which is 0.75x144 or 216/2 or 3x144/4 = 432/4.
Both markets have had the greatest reaction so far since the trend changed in March 2016.
We are not completely discarding another top in July at this moment.

Summary
This post presented several new PTV projections for a June 2016 top, which it seems aligned with Gann's 20yrs cycle harmonic. We are not completely discarding another top in July at this moment.

Thank you.
ReplyDeleteInteresting about the rate of vibration.
Was a bit unsure about how that worked from contract to contract.
This has helped my understanding
It is a very interesting phenomenon. Each contract seems to be vibrating at its own rate, but they all behave in the same way. After all they are all soybeans.
Deletehi.thanks ricardo
ReplyDeletei have a request
can you analyse the wheat chart please?i think it's very good for now to find the bottom!i think it's cooming soon and it's worth(like bottom on soybean)
thanks
Let me see what I can do. I find that Wheat is a difficult market to trade sometimes. I still keep an eye on it, but not as often as with Soybeans.
