Soybeans - September 2017

As expected, soybeans topped in July. This is in line with our initial roadmap. There's a Gann's 14yrs cycle turning in September. This cycle could align with a secondary top leading into the October bottom.

 Cycle analysis

Figure 1 is a daily price-time chart for November soybean futures from 2015 to the present time. The chart shows a harmonic (in red) of Gann's 20yrs cycle aligning with July 2017 top. Additionally it shows the harmonic (magenta and green) due to turn around mid-September 2017.

It is common that after a July top the market will react and form a secondary top around August-September before declining into the final bottom in October.

According to our analyses, soybeans is in a bull market. The market should resume it's way up after bottoming in October 2017.

 Summary

Even if our initial roadmap for 2017 wasn't accurate during the first part of the year, the market did topped on July. Perhaps the second part of 2017 will resemble more to our roadmap.

Gann's 14yrs cycle harmonic may align with a secondary top. October should be an important month this year.
