Update: Soybeans - March 2016

This blog post is an update for our March soybean analysis. This update includes a cycle projection expected for late March - early April.

 Cycle Analysis

Figure 1 is a weekly price-time chart for cash soybeans. It includes one of Gann's 20 years cycle harmonics expected to turn on late March - early April 2016. This particular cycle has aligned with several important market bottoms in the last years.

After the final bottom of September 2006, on October 2006 there were a couple of secondary bottoms from which the market exploded on its way up. This took place on Oct 3rd and 11th of 2006. From these wto dates we are anchoring this cycle, as a result we get a window between March 28 and April 4th, 2016.

 Summary

There is a harmonic of Gann's 20 years cycle expected to turn between the end of March and early April 2016. In consonance with our 2016 soybean roadmap, this should align with a market bottom.
